Heavenly Pizza
It is very easy to find big varieties of food at any corner of the city, it is amazing to think of how many different cultures influenced in the American culinary. Even with so many different options of food, pizza is still my favorite. Ever since I was a little girl, my family and I order pizza at least once a week. There is something about pizza that makes it special every time I eat it, my heart feels warm whenever I smell that amazing scent.
The first thing I notice when I walk in the restaurant is the compelling smell of tomato sauce with melted cheese. Everyone knows the smell of pizza, the smell that makes me want to eat pizza everyday for the rest of my life. This smell brings me warm memories. I sit by the table while I wait for the waitress to take my order. I ask for a small pizza with thin crust and pepperoni and vegetables as toppings and mozzarela sticks for the side dish. After making my order, I wait anxiously for the food to be ready. I can hear my stomach screaming, asking for food, like a newborn crying for milk.
When the waitress comes with my side dish order, she places the mozzarella sticks in my left, they are on a big white plate with a small cup of red sauce. I get excited when the waitress puts the pizza in front of me and gives me a small white plate and napkins, but I know that all I need to eat pizza is my clean hands. I take my first bite and all the flavors of cheese, sauce, vegetables and pepperoni rushes toward my taste buds and while I am chewing, I can hear the crunchy sound the delicious crust makes. The smooth and tasty look of the pizza makes me crave another slice. I take another slice and each bite gives me a satisfying taste, which I can only experience with
