Mary’s Angelic Encounter There are 73 books in the bible. Each book is filled with many passages. One of my very favorites is Luke 1:26-38. Based on the title you probably already had an idea of what it was. Anyway it is my favorite because, it shows me Mary’s courage, it represents my American Heritage Girls troop, and it inspires and gives me hope for my calling. This is my troop verse. We chose it because it was when Mary said yes to God. Since it is our troop verse we thought it was appropriate to make it our troop number as well. Also, she gives me hope that I can say yes to my calling, whatever that calling may be. As well as faith in God that He has my vocation ready for me. He knew Mary would be the Mother of God, and He know I will follow my calling. I have the faith in God that He will give me strength to pursue what I am meant to do, just as he did for Mary. This passage is my favorite because, it shows me Mary’s courage, it represents my American Heritage Girls troop, and it inspires and gives me hope for my calling. I hope the things in this passage guide me throughout the rest of my life. I hope that you learned something from what I have shared. May God give you strength to fulfill your
