Bullying is like air pollution. It never stops unless we do something about it. Being bullied to me is one of the hardest things to go through depending on how extreme it is. Over 3.2 million students are victims of bullying each year. 1 in 10 students dropout of school because of repeated bullying. My survival experience is still going on today and has been for the past 8 years. I’ve tried going to councilors and talking to my parents, but nothing worked. I guess all I have left is to just get through middle school and hopefully it gets better in high school. Like most, I am a very healthy, average 13 year old girl. Before I moved to Minnesota I had lived in Akron, Ohio for 10 years. I moved to Minnesota because my dad was accepted to be a Vice President of sales and marketing at DCI in St. Cloud. I have been living in MN for the past 2 ½ years so far. I love being active and outside. If I had the chance to play outside 24/7 I would take it. On most average days of the week I am either playing soccer or baking. I absolutely love soccer and would take the chance to play for UMD any day. It would be an incredible experience! It had started in kindergarten when I had two friends. They both hated each other and so I was the one always in the middle. I decided to just not be friends with one because she was just so rude and nasty. I ended up becoming friends with the other and still even to this day. Since then, there has been little splotches of bullying each year, but this year is the worst. At the beginning of this year I had a best friend that was being bullied and I decided to stick up for her. It had worked for about a week and the next thing you it had caught up with me. My other friends and the one I stuck up for had all turned on me and were being super passive
