The roaring 20’s. A time where everything was a blast until the stock market crashed but let's not talk about that. The roaring 20s seems like it was the place to be for me. If I can go back in time I wouldn't mind going there for a year. It's the place you wanna be if you wanna feel young and free. After WWI many Americans wanted to forget the horror of the war and live a little, so they did. For me the 20s is the time where things changed. This was the time period where women was finally given some of the same opportunities as men. They were able to go to college, earn wages and voting rights. Black and white Movies were being shown in cinemas. I'm a sucker for black and white movies. Also the fact that Mickey Mouse was first released and shown to the world in the 20s just adds to the awesomeness. If I could go back in time and capture that moment would be(insert big word). Cinemas were a big thing and so were clubs. People would go to pubs, drink and have a good time (even when drinking was prohibited thanks 18th amendment). They would sing and dance to the upbeat tone of jazz. They would bust out some move such as the Charleston or the black bottom and so much more. While at home they had radios to keep them or their children entertained. Radios brought music, news, drama and comedy right to people's homes. I find it amusing that all the things here today are just a blast from the past, just more modern. I would like to go back and see how people would react to being in cinemas, or sitting at home listening to their favorite drama on the radios. I would like to go back and actually learn how to do the charleston from a person during that time. I want to know and experience what F. Scott Fitzgerald was talking about when he wrote “The Great Gatsby”. I would live in the 20s hoping to have a blast in the
