Personal Narrative: Fear Is Not Real

“Fear is not real. The only place that fear can exist is in our thought of the future. It is a production of our imagination, causing us to fear things that do not at present and may not ever exist. That is near insanity”-Will Smith. I believe that change is inevitable. Change is doing things different or making your own way. Change is something we all go through occasionally at rough times. We change either in personality, perspective, or integrity. We never stay the same. We evolve and become the best us we can be. I believe that change is a powerful point in our life were we our vulnerable.
I started to change in my personality when I got to sixth grade. We were having family problems and those moments weren’t easy for me. We just cared about playing and having fun. As I get older, my perspective changed on my grades. You also start seeing who your friends are; you gain some but also leave some behind. Once you get older you see who your friends are and what people are bad news. We see things differently than we would normally do and we fall down but the important part is getting back up. Our moral principles change. We care more about what others think knowing or not. We try to blend in especially in high school. We go through more changes here; high school is where we try to find ourselves. As we get older, we start to figure out who we are. We go through plenty of changes before we happy with what we see.
I fear change. I do not know what type of change it might be a stupendous one or horrible. I don’t know what might happen that could change my future.
