First Football Game – 1st Person Point of View
When I was seven years old, I begged my parents to let me register for girl’s flag football. I did not have as much experience playing it as the other girls on my team did but during all of our practices, I tried as hard as I could. I played my best in my scrimmages. and then the first game came. That was a day I will never forget. Kickoff starts at 9:30 in the morning. The game has begun. My team had offense first so I was on the sidelines watching. We scored our first touchdown within minutes of the game beginning. Now it is time for me to play. I was the rusher. The blue team has the ball first. Within minutes, they score a touchdown. The rusher for the red team tried to run and pull the flag off the other team’s quarterback but failed to do so. The blue team’s quarterback threw the ball down the line, but the other team caught the ball and started to run. They scored another touchdown. The red team is in the lead 21-0 at the end of the first quarter. In the fourth quarter, the rusher was put in as a wide receiver. It is weird for a rusher to be placed as a wide receiver at the end of the game. The girl started to run down the line, that way she would be able to be open and catch the ball. As she ran, she stumbled over the grass and fell on the field. Her team received a penalty for her falling. It does not make sense. The referee was bias and liked the other team and wanted to make sure that the blue team would win. At the end of the game, the red team’s coach announced who the best player was, he announced his daughter. His daughter was the quarterback and had an amazing game. She threw astonishing passes that helped her team accomplish everything to win this
