It Became That Moment
It became that death defying moment, the moment I never thought would become reality. I started to talk my worst enemy; Connor Streek. I was very chubby and couldn’t do a lot, I was very bad at sports and overall a big huge dobber. Connor and I used to always fight and scream across the classroom just to get the better of us.
After we started talking he seemed cooler than I thought, we started to hang out and ride our rusty cheap scooters. “Connor, can you stop making these unnecessary comments to me.” He said. “What Connor, I’M not doing anything. He didn’t know what he was doing to me, he then bugged me to deal with it. All the other people that he was with had learnt to deal with it so then I did. He would hit me with that funny joke and I handled like a man, it didn’t bother me. It finally worked, I was free from ever being hurt from the inside, and since I dealt with it he would be able to deal with, right? I started making jokes about him, but he never liked it one bit, he would even react with violence because he was so annoyed with him not being the dominant one anymore.
He wouldn’t take the jokes, so I slowed myself down and thought about how and why he was making the jokes. All along he was just trying to impress all his friends, I tried to understand but all the memories just came flowing back.
