To, People who don’t like cold places Have you ever been to a place that you feel like you’re free to do anything you want? I feel like the ice rink is the place I best know I can feel myself. Lakeland Ice Arena is a place that I can practice what I physically like to do, to play Hockey. I feel like when I go to hockey practice, that is the time for me to do what I can and to do the best I can. The ice rink is such a great place to spend some time to get away from it all. When you’re on the ice you can really think to yourself for a moment and kind of relax. You can also just take the time to get away from school and other responsible work. The ice rink is a place where you can think about yourself and do what you want to do. Even though lakeland arena has been known to many people as the old, really cold facility, it has been around many people for several years. Just because a place is cold and old, it doesn’t mean it’s a bad place to go. What you can do to resolve the problems is to prepare just a bit when you visit. Yes, each of the three rinks have heaters throughout the bleachers, but you can't guarantee that they will be on. Another reason to spend time here is that there are lots of people who practice here each and everyday. When you get used to some people, it almost becomes like a small world. I think it works for anyone that doesn't mind spending time with friends or even family. It also gives you a chance to skate on the ice. It can be from hockey, to figure skating, open free skate, or even “rusty blades”. “Rusty Blades” is an hour or so of older people late in age to have a chance to freely skate around the rink and see what they have left in them. I think you should just buy a pair of skates and try to see if you enjoy skating on ice. It’s really a different world when you're on the ice.
