Malery Longing Once something happens, you can’t take it back. I am seen as the girl that goes to the parties and greats bad grades,but in reality I am the totally opposite. I don’t go to parties and I have a B average,even though I used to have straight A’s. It all went down hill when my dad got invited to a party. He ended up going to the party,but never arrived back home. Later my mom and I had found out he got in a bad car accident caused by alcohol. My dad barely drank around us and when I found out he was the one that caused it, I couldn’t believe it. About one year later when we knew he wasn’t going to get better,my mom got a divorce. I moped into the living room where she was sitting, and stared at what she was doing. I knew she was looking at a dating site again. “Mom,” I said as I stared blankly at the screen. She didn’t even bother to answer back because she knew I would just go on about how she didn’t need to date someone this “soon”.I stood for about five more minutes and got sick of waiting. I trotted up the stairs to my bedroom,which was almost completely empty. I moved towards my desk and sat down. Just when I was about to do my homework,my little sister,Kenna, came into my room. Is he any better?”,she was biting her fingernails so she would not have to be face to face with me.
