When we are babies we did not see the world as black or white, we all look alike. We don’t realize that we are divergent until our parents tell us otherwise. As we get older we realize that we do not look alike. Our identity, personality, and self-esteem began to develop. We become influence by our surroundings and other social issues. Nevertheless, when we are engaging in impression management, social comparison, social tuning, and identifying our motivations are all elements of who we are, and try to understand our behaviors, thoughts, and how our social interactions influenced us as a human being. In doing this it helped boost my self-esteem in a universal concept. (Branscombe & Baron 2017). Intrinsic/ Extrinsic I started sewing, making gift baskets, and decorating as a hobby many years ago from watching my grandmother, as a child. When she deceased, I continued it as a hobby creating unique clothing, exotic gifts baskets of fruits and different types of cheese and chocolate. On days when I wasn’t sewing or making baskets my friends or family asked me to help decorate their house. It was just a hobby and I never intended to turn it into a business, but as word got out and other people was asking me could I sew them an outfit, make gift baskets for special occasion or help decorate their houses or churches. I couldn’t afford to spend my money or time anymore without charging for my service. (Branscombe & Baron 2017).
