Personal Narrative: My Favorite Season At Columbus High School

Picking one certain season as my favorite is pretty difficult, so I decided to pick two. My two favorite seasons are winter and summer for two different things. Now I will tell you why I chose these particular seasons.
I usually only like the summer because do not have school, but this year it wasn 't the only reason it was one of my favorites. This summer I got the opportunity to play for the Columbus High School baseball team. I came into it being very nervous because none of the coaches had seen me play much before hand. The first practice went very well and I was looking very good. The next few practices went by and finally it was time to pick the teams freshman, sophomore, junior varsity, and varsity. They named all of the names on each team and said if your named was not said stay here. So I was just expecting to get called on junior varsity and go home pretty happy, but they didn 't call my name. I was so excited because it was my first high school sport and I got on varsity. I played a very good amount for a eighth grader going to be a freshman once school started, I played about 21 out of the 30 total games and started 12 of the games on varsity. The reason I enjoy winter so much is not because of weather it is because I get to play my favorite sport which is hockey. I started hockey when I was three years old so I 've been playing for 11 years now. It has just been my passion ever since I started. I hope later in life I can make it father than just playing for the high school and eventually move away and get a host family to play for a triple a team somewhere else to attempt to get looked at for college. It is my dream to make it to either a USHL team or to a D1 college hockey school or both who knows what my future holds in store. But if I 'm playing hockey things will be
