The transition from middle school to high school is what shaped me the most and this adjustment has changed me in both good and bad ways. As a freshman, I enrolled in a private school, called Bridgemont High School. It was a very small school and did not have the same help as the public schools offered. I didn 't have an ELD class and classes providing extra help were limited. Eld means einglish language development, these classes are classes to help develop your english speaking skills even though i can speak english i had poor grammar.
Threw out my high school career, I have been at Camelback High School within the Montessori program that is relatively new to the school. I wake up early (around 5am) and take the bus everyday to school because I choose not to drive. I have thought about quitting more than once, but decided to stay because I strive for completion. I also pride myself on my honesty. The truth is I always do the bare minimum but I also attempt the extra mile whenever
Newton was a town just east of the coast Ceils. The people were nice and friendly, it being a small town everybody knew each other. Maddie, Zach, Cody and Karen are all good friends. But ever since last year Maddie, Zach, Cody, and Karen noticed that the town has been becoming strange. The people were acting weird and bad things kept on happening.
Narrative: I moved to Kansas City, Kansas seven years ago. It all started when I was in 6th grade with these girls. I was a different race then them. They thought it would be cool to mess and try to get rid of the white girl. One day, they decided to try everything they possibly can to get me kicked out.
Larry Smith was speaking some true words. Do not confuse passion with interest. Passion is deep down, that 's what you want to find. It is a deep down love. Interests are things you like but not love, its not a deep down love for something.
There we were almost time to go to High School, the last time I’m going to see my friends in middle school. To celebrate one last time we all are going to banquet so we can one last time of fun. Our banquet was at the Hilton Hawaiian Village where they have resturant, music, stores, beach, and a hotel where everybody is going to stay. The problem was it cost a lot of money, it was about $41 but my mom paid because she works there.
I have change a lot in high school, my attitude and how I was whit another’s persons. I was in middle school, and I was a really bad kid, I always get in trouble, I never do my work and I would talk back to the teacher, I would get in fights or I do bad things, but know in high school no. I have change now, I am not a bad kid anymore, know I do my work, I try to be the best student in the class, I am not getting in to fight anymore. I have change a lot I am a different person now, and I don’t want to get in trouble now, because I am in football and I like to play football, so that is why I am a different person, that is why I do my work, I don’t talk back to the teacher, and I don’t get into a fights anymore.
When everyone says High school goes by fast they’re not lying at all. Junior year was big for me at both school and outside of school. I was hired at Weedman lawncare where i learned about real estate and how to stay warm walking around in the cold. Everyday during my lunch period me and a couple of friends would help and play with the special needs children in the gym. I ran cross-country and track my junior year.
was a pleasure to have all of you in this class and I hope you have a great time in high school and wish you all the best for the future.” I proceeded to second period, which was music. In music, we collected our final projects and work for the entire year. After that, we went around the room and signed our yearbooks with other students.
Everyone changes in high school; however, some people change for the worse others for the best. From middle to high school I change to become a friendly person. My change in high school turned out to be good so far. When I entered high school I was terrified but confident because I was eager to see my friends, but I was also worried because I didn’t know a lot of people.
From the time when I was a kid, I grew up facing various problems. I grew up in a family that was not very financially stable. My parents struggled to pay school fees for me and my siblings. I could see my parents work tirelessly day and nights, taking shifts and having different jobs to see us through. Fortunately, we made it through grade school.
In the duration of my middle school years, I maintained excellent grades, except I had just one issue that held me back from a satisfying life. That issue was the fact that friends came very hard to me in my middle school years. Before my struggles at my middle school, Trafton, I had a very productive social life in the Elementary school I attended, Roberts Elementary. Here, it was very easy to make friends and have a great social life, since no hard work was required as a kid. Middle school, however, was a great challenge for me.
When I think about my middle school years some memories are clear and others not so clear. What I do remember however, is how to felt once I got to middle school. Even before my first day of sixth grade I was extremely nervous. When I walked into the building of Central Middle school I instantly felt an adrenaline rush. I get nervous quite easily so rushing to find my classes didn’t help exactly.
I lost my father in a road accident at the tender age of fourteen and I believe time that was the time I morphed into the person that I am today. From that day onward my mother, a humble homemaker, a struggling single parent has been my greatest source of inspiration. Come rain come snow, she never shied away from her duties and responsibilities in doing her best to raise her children to the best of her abilities. She wanted to give us a good life, a quality education and to raise us to be self-sufficient and humble human beings. From her I learned to the importance of perseverance, to take up challenges in life and have the courage to set out on a journey on a road less traveled.
About a year ago I went through the hardest time of my life thus far. I was sitting in my room and I heard my mom start to cry, I walked out and asked her what was wrong. Little did I know she was going to tell me that my cousin Jesse, had committed suicide. It was toward the beginning of my junior year when I found out what had happened to my cousin. I was still getting used to all of my hard classes that I was taking that year and all of the work I was getting.
