I wish to remember only that unique voyage. I want to keep that wonderful memory for ever. In the 80 ' I was a member of the Architectural Commission for the City of Sonoma. We review new and restoration projects. I study California Architecture when I volunteer to do an Historic Preservation survey of buildings from 1840 to 1940 for the City and County of Sonoma. We compile many books with historic details. By knowing the history of Architecture and People who contributed to the area we were able to move and save Historic Houses from demolition. We saved and restored a 100 years old cottage and became the Headquarter of the Sonoma Sister City. We had Sister Cities in Chambolle-Mussigny, (France), Kanev in Ukraina, Greve in Chianti in Italy and Pasquaro in Michuacan, Mexico. We had many delegation to come to see us, and we visit those places many times. We were very involved with the Sister Cities National Organization, established by General Eisenhower after WWII. We won many awards. we had so many wonderful successful events, film festival, red and white balls, historical events with wine tasting. dinner dance, all fund raising for non profit
