Recommended: A family tradition essay

There are many great things about my state, Alabama. Today, I will name my 3 favorite things I love about my home. My first favorite thing about the state of Alabama would be our coastal shores of Mobile. I love the warm sand against my feet as the breeze waves through my hair. I love the sound of children screaming and laughing as they play, the seagulls flapping and screeching, and the waves crashing against the shore. I love waking up early to the gorgeous sun rise, the golden rays reflecting off the water. I love the feel of my line in the water, the slight tug at my line as i get a bite. I love the fight of the fish as I struggle to reel it in. I love the feel of the scaly, slimy fish. I love the feel of the soft, green grass against my bare feet. I love smelling the the grill as food cooks for our afternoon family dinner. I love as we sit around the long, white table as we surround it in our chairs of all shape and size. I love as we bow our heads thanking God for our time together. I love the taste of the warm food and the golden color of the sweet tea. I love as our family tells stories as if they were yesterday despite being ages ago.
