When I was in the third grade at Saint Roberts I was struggling a lot with math, it didn’t make sense to me and I soon fell behind the rest of my peers. I still remember the board they had in my classroom, there was an ice-cream cone for every student in the class, when you passed your multiplication table test you received a ‘scoop’ on your ice-cream cone and got to advance to the next test. When you had finally reached it to 12 you received a root beer float for your hard work. I never got passed 4.
