Paradise Paradise. That word sounds so exciting and peaceful. And let me tell you it is. I went to North Carolina in the summer of 2013. It was a long time ago but I remember every detail of it. I had so much fun that it would be impossible to forget this wonderful vacation. My aunt surprised us at Christmas! She and the adults had all pitched in money to rent this gorgeous house that was right on the beach. It was the best surprise ever! She showed us lots of pictures of the house. The house was four stories high and had ten rooms and ten bathrooms. It had a movie theater room and three living rooms. Also, it had a ginormous kitchen and a game room too. Outside it had an inground pool and hottub. Every single room had a balcony! The best part though was that there was an elevator! Summer finally came rolling around and we were off to this bundle of joy that was awaiting us. The car ride took almost fifteen hours. We left at four in the morning and I slept for a good two hours out of that fifteen hour drive. We stopped for breakfast at McDonalds and then kept creeping along. For lunch we stopped at a gas station called Sheets. I remember this because my mom was dying in the front seat saying “Holy Sheets!” the whole time. (I’m pretty sure she was exhausted.) We were boogie boarding buddies. Every wave we would try to surf it and then pose for my camera loving mother. Her and I also built sand castles together that were always better than the last. We would lay out together and do practically everything together. (She lives in Arizona so I don’t get to see her much) When we got tired of each other I would play with my other cousin, Sam. He and I would go up and down in that elevator for hours. We were always running from Emma who was left to taking the stairs. We would also swim in the pool a lot. If I wanted to go in the ocean I would go with Madelyn and if I wanted to go in the pool I would go with
