On May 4th, 2016, at approximately 9:30 p.m., I, Deputy Kyle Masters was dispatched to 16550 Ozark Trail in reference to a domestic. Upon arrival I made contact with Kathy Cook and Samuel Washington. Both subjects stated that they were involved in an argument. Both subjects stated that they wanted to leave the residence and go stay somewhere else for the night. Kathy and Samuel began arguing over who was going to take the dogs with them.
“I’ll get the paddleboard on the rocks,” I called up to Mason. He was already halfway up the stone stairs that led up the hill. I leaped up onto the first stair, and bounded up the hill, jumping two stairs with every stride. I was overjoyed to be in Northern Michigan on Long Lake, the largest of the twenty inland lakes in Long Lake Township. My hockey teammate, Mason, had invited me up to his amazing lake house.
Having had the foresight to properly test and adjust her loaded backpack before we left the motel, Julie appeared to be doing well in the backpack department, While still in the early planning stage, I envisioned a high country hike and campout on a scenic mountain summit or high grassy bald, meeting and exchanging stories with other hikers on the trail. As our gear arsenal expanded, I realized that, not being born a mule, I was neither prepared or willing to climb any long slope with a fully loaded backpack, no matter how rewarding the prize at the trails end. With a reputation of isolation and proximity to water, my daughter favoured the Lakeshore Trail alongside Fontana Lake, a place we 've only seen looking down from nearby mountain summits. The guide book illustrated the Lakeshore Trail to campsite 98 as a horizontal traverse for the most part, with a series of smallish undulating valleys and crests, the largest having an elevation change of only 500 feet.
Every year, my family goes on a snowmobile trip with my friend Aftyn’s family in Spearfish, South Dakota. About two years ago, we drove out for our trip as usual. The first day was super fun. We stopped at Four Corners, a fun hill to climb, and we did lots of racing. The second day was a little more eventful.
My family and I were on our way to Mille Lacs Lake, a very great walleye fishery. It was going to be perfect, a small breeze 70 and sunny a perfect day for fishing. Little did we know it was going to be rough. Beep, Beep, Beep, it was seven o'clock AM it was time to get up for fishing.
Over the summer I traveled to Tennessee to see my cousins. The day we arrived, we visited Lake Winnie, an amusement park with tons of rides with a water park. It was a joyful day. That day I went on the first roller coaster I 've ever been on. While walking nervously up the steps to get into line with my cousin, I felt the adrenaline rushing through my body, and I felt very anxious.
This story takes place last summer in the month of July, about one week. My family and I went on a trip out west. Our final destination was in South Dakota. We left on a monday morning and I remember my mom was trying to get me up and they almost left without me. Everyone packed their bags in the car but when I was about to put mine in the car I was informed that there was no more room and it had to get tied to the roof.
Getting down to Nebraska was harsh and the trail was dusty. The children like me had to take care of the animals. Jim, Antonia and myself became really good friends after living next door to each other for a while and we do everything together. When I work, I help my dad to plant and harvest crops and hunt for food. We planted and harvested corn, potatoes, pumpkin, wheat, peas, carrots and tomatoes.
Throughout my life, I have traveled to many different cities in the United States. Unfortunately, I have not had the opportunity to experience staying in a different country or foreign culture for an extended period. One experience that I experienced culture shock in would be my travels to Mississippi. About six years ago, I joined my grandmother’s family in their travel to her native hometown of Holly Springs, Mississippi to visit her relatives.
The feel of sand reminds me of ludington michigan. Although it might rained every time I went there it was one of my favorite camping trips ever. ludington was a beautiful place to camp, r.v., and visit. It was one of those places where you wish you could stay longer after every day. One day my family decided to camping for a couple of days, because we had nothing to do for that week.
A Montana Fishing Trip As we walked down to the river, the birds were making a whistling noise, and it was quite annoying because the birds were so loud Will and I could barely hear each other. When we were walking down to the river on a rock that was on the path was a famous quote from Muhammad Ali and it was about the river and it said “Rivers, Ponds, Lakes, and Streams - they all have different names, but they all contain water. Just as religions do - they all contain truths.”
Several years ago, I found myself riding in the passenger seat of my family’s car, riding west towards Canton, Mississippi. At around four o-clock that morning, my mom had received a phone call from the hospital regarding her father, who had been admitted that morning after accidentally overdosing on his numerous medications. A few minutes later, we were on the road to Mississippi. When we finally arrived in Mississippi, there were several cars in my grandad’s parking lot. My mom got out, and told me to stay in the car.
All of us had fun, but we were exhausted. We went back to the rental and played some video games. Soon after my mom shouted, “Come eat dinner!” Then me and my sisters raced down the stairs and went right to the dining room. We ate to our fill and then we went right to
Alabama Trip My mom and and dad told me in December that we were going to Gulf Shores, Alabama to visit my grandparents. Gulf Shores is the southernmost town in Alabama, located on the north coast of the Gulf of Mexico. I have been there twice when I was little. I remember that I collected seashells and went swimming with Boppa in the pool.
I went home that day with a broken heart and a young boy being disappoint with no fish. Also, the road trip was probably the most annoying one, but one to
