490 Words2 Pages

The summer of 2017 I went with my uncle to Wisconsin Dells. It was my first time going to Wisconsin Dells. There were so many things to experience at the waterpark from the long lines of people, to the many water slides, to the loudness and the smell of chlorine. We arrived at the waterpark at about ten o’clock. There weren 't very many people there. My cousin and I began by going on many waterslides, from tube slides to body slides. It was awesome because we didn’t have to wait very long. A little bit later on crowds of people began crashing in like the waves in the wave pool. It became annoying as the day went on. Although, my cousin and I were adding to the noise by screaming and laughing on each slide we went on. The smell of chlorine attacked my nose from the moment I stepped foot in the resort. Oddly so did the smell of musk and sweat. The smell of musk got stronger as we walked up the stairs to get to the top of the slides. I could also smell the food from the bar, which was making my mouth water. On each slide I went on water went up my nose so I not only smelt the water, but I basically inhaled the water. Besides all of the water I inhaled I really enjoyed the food and drinks the resort had. We ate at the bar. We had burgers and fries. It was the best tender, juicy burger. The fries were also amazing and I had a strawberry smoothie that added the sweetness that I needed. We also stopped at a candy store and got some ice cream. The ice cream was the best I have ever had, it was cookie dough with chocolate chunks. It was a great experience going to Wisconsin Dells with my uncle and his family. It was an awesome trip besides all of the people, my burning back and all of the water I inhaled. I really enjoyed my vaction. I hope to make it back to the Dells
