Ever since the mid 1900s, people have been enjoying the action-packed classics that are High Noon and "The Most Dangerous Game". Although a movie about a sheriff named Will Kane in the West, High Noon, and a short story about a hunter named Sanger Rainsford being stranded on an island, "The Most Dangerous Game", don't seem like they'd have anything in common, they are actually much more similar than you'd think. Both of these tales teach lessons through their own different plots that both feature intense endings that leave you on the edge of your seat. Although High Noon and "The Most Dangerous Game" feature very notably different themes, they are still exceedingly similar when it comes to the overall setting and main characters of the two
A loud crashing sound came crawling up the stairs. Warwick and Hall sprung from the musty hole and fell to the ground. Everyone huddled around them with concern. No one said a word. They stared in astonishment while the men lay on the filthy dirt ridened floor.
Once upon a time when I was 8 years old. It was a pitch-black night with bone-chilling winds. I went to an horrifying Haunted House In Los Angeles California where the people say it’s the most paranormal haunted house in the city. Right when I went in, there where people gripping my arm and glaring at me and all of a sudden, boom someone grabbed my legs and a disturbing mortals with the most nerve racking costume crawled on me. I went screaming out and crying with a terrified look on my face.
Still shaking in my shoes and my mind racing a mile a minute, I turned around and looked in all directions to see if anyone else was hearing or seeing what I was. No one else was here, but me. Who would believe me? How could I explain? Then suddenly, he spoke again.

Something warm was running down my wrist. I blinked, saw I was still biting down on my fist, hard enough to draw blood from the
Halloween Memoir By: Sydney It was October 31st and I was already up at 5:30 getting ready for Halloween. It was a school morning and we were going to be having our class party after gym.
Where there were voices, there was escape. "HELP!" I shouted, hoping they would hear me. "Holy shit there's a person down there!" a feminine voice exclaimed.
On January 21, 2003, I went to a prayer meeting at the church. At the end of the meeting an elder in our church asked me to get a vision of Miranda healthy in my head. So, I imagined her at Disney World holding ice cream and playing without any symptoms. In my heart, I wanted to take her to the “Not So Scary Halloween Party” this year and have breakthrough.
When I was 12 years old, my mom took my friends and I to the Haunted Hayride. Unfortunately, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. We got onto the hayride and there was a massive horse with a boy riding it who was headless and mean following us for about 2 minutes. For being in Middle School, I was pretty freaked out when we got off the trailer to walk through a corn maze , when then came a guy wearing a mask with a chainsaw chasing us out!!!! It was an exciting and horrid night for my friends and I.
I didn’t know what exactly was happening but my parents were worried. I saw them run from place to place in the house. They were grabbing things from everywhere, I never saw them as stressed as they were that day. My mom was sending me downstairs but I never liked it there, it was too dark.

The origins of the popular holiday Halloween date back two thousand years ago. It is believed to have been originated from ancient Celtic festival of Samhain which means “summer's end” in Gaelic. During the time of the summer's end, people would gather their animals from the pastures and bring them in for the winter. They would also need to gather resources for the long winter months. During the event of Samhain people believed that ghosts of the dead would return to Earth, they would light bonfires, and wear scary costumes to ward off ghosts.
I was putting my Halloween costume on when I heard something moving in my closet. I turn to the closet door half dressed with a curious look on my face. In my mind, it being Halloween, I thought I was just hearing things or my little brother was playing a prank on me. I walk out the door to my room, down the stairs and as I was about to walk out the front door my father caught me, “Where are you going?” he asked “Out, it’s
A major regret in life, is not taking a Christmas vacation sooner with my family. Attending Disney World for the first time, brought our family closer, enabled us to conquer fears, and left us with memorable impressions. Our vacation consisted of 10 days, to explore roughly 40 square miles of property, spread out over four different parks. Each location conveyed a different emotion with every step. All the trees looked stuffed like a Hawaiian pig with adornments and fairy lights.
