Personal Narrative: Shaia Again

I wish I could see Shaia again. It has been like ten years or even more since I have seen her. Shaia used to be my best friend as a child. We used to have so much fun together as young children and as best friends. I used to have this pink razor electric scooter, well actually I still have the scooter. Today, the scooter is just in the garage, I do not use it anymore. But, my little brothers ride it all the time. When I was younger I used to ride the scooter all the time. Especially around my old courtyard at our old Apartment in Arbor Park Village, which is where we used to live back in Cleveland. And sometimes, well most times I used ride my bestfriend, Shaia on the back with me. When I was ready to go out and ride my scooter, I had to be a big girl and carry my own scooter up and down the stairs all by myself. My parents figured if I wanted to ride it than I would have to learn how to take it up and down stairs everyday that I wanted to ride it. So I learned how to do so all on my own. but, when I first got it, and until I could carry the scooter back and forth my dad would carry the scooter up and down the stairs for me. I was not allowed to let anyone ride my scooter. If my parents was to ever look out and see someone else on my scooter besides me, than I would be in big trouble. So one day I had asked my mom why can't others ride my scooter such as my best friend Shaia and my mom told me, “Well Lena if anyone breaks it there parent won't offer to help get it fixed and then you won't have anything to ride”.
