The Asylum It was a wonderful summer night outside. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky. My friends and I were sitting around and we were bored out of our minds. We always heard people talking about the asylum on Rockingham road downtown. We decided we wanted to go find it and get a glimpse of it. We drove up there and searched for it for about an hour. No luck, the building was nowhere to be found. So then my friends and I gave up to get something to nibble on because searching took a lot out of us. The next night we still had no luck,we started to get really frustrated. We decided to seek help from some people who had been there before. So the next day was a saturday and i had to go to work. Since i had adrenaline pumping through my system i had not noticed it at all. After noticing my arm we made the choice that we absolutely had to go back for help or i could have died. Rounding the corner of the building and getting into the light of the car headlights and seeing my arm it was as if a monster or ghost had attacked me. The police ordered me to keep my arm high above my head to slow the bleeding. I had noticed the blood was all over my clothes, legs, and phone.My arm was getting extreemly tired. I didn't think i could hold it up any longer, but my best friend Lexi was there and she held it up for me. The fire department arrived and wrapped it up, then the ambulance arrived soon after and escorted me to the hospital. At that point my arm was starting to hurt. In the bright hospital room i could see my arm clearly and the cuts were gigantic and wide open. I could see all the white tissue inside almost down to the bone.The doctor decided that the cut had just missed my major tendons and i wouldn't need surgery. My dad arrived soon after and the doctor was finally able to start stitching my arm up.The numbing medicine hadn't kicked in yet and she started the first stitch and i felt excruciating pain as he stuck the needle in my arm.The stitching took a long tiring two and
