Around 2 years ago, I stepped into a small room in Lancaster. I saw about 20 other girls in that room, all accompanied by their parents. My mom picked up a paper and my sister and I sat down. I was shaking looking at my sheet music, trying to remember the tune.
One thing that caught my attention are the machinery used to transform the stage into a bedroom. The wall that was stored on top of the stage gliding down the stage transforming it into a bedroom. Pulizer Prize winner David Lindsay-Abaire’s play, Wonder of the World was directed by Tara Blau. “Ms. Tara Blau has been directing credits which includes, The Pavilion for the Cinnabar; Theatre Company; Love Letters,” to name a few. The Glass Castle and jennet walls and I kinda have something in common, she had a pretty dysfunctional family with christmases and moving a lot. Jennet had many obstacles she had to go through with moving all the time she had to make new friends she was bullied her parents didn't have a whole lot of money so they had to skimp with things like christmas. She had siblings that she had to look out for since her parents were kinda neglective. This didn't stop her from being successful in her life though she is now happily married and she know has a different look out on life then most of use from growing up on the streets she doesn't take anything for granted.

However, Broadway is probably most well-known for its more thought evoking, solemn musicals. “Macbeth” is a tragic play about a gruesome rise to power and the downfall of it all. Macbeth goes down menacing paths in order to get the power he believes he deserves. Macbeth is easily persuaded by a prophecy promised by three witches, this contributes to him making sinister decisions that are not worthwhile. Macbeth encounters many strange/supernatural experiences, struggles with a constant paranoia and finds himself being stuck in a endless rut fuelled by ambition. By the end, he is trapped in a world he had created himself.
This written task is based upon the play Macbeth. Though readers identify the titular character of Willian Shakespeare’s Macbeth, another character stands out as a much greater protagonist. While Macbeth is driven towards madness and into committing atrocities as to fulfill his ambitions to the throne, Macduff lacks such a flaw and endures an uncorrupted and loyal behavior throughout the play. As Macbeth strives to gain power and accomplishes his purposes at the expense of King Duncan’s life, Macduff meanwhile endures great personal loss in his attempts to cease Macbeth’s despotic behavior and restore justice and freedom to Scotland.

An article about the construction of the globe theater states “ The Globe theater was built in 1599 using timber from an earlier theater” (The Globe Theatre, PlayShakespeare.com). The Globe Theater was mainly built of timber, stone, and plaster.
The Tragedy of Macbeth is a play by William Shakespeare set in Scotland about a murderous and vehement king who spirals on a path of destruction as he suffers from the consequences of determining his own fate. The predominant theme portrayed throughout the play is honor vs. loyalty. This is represented through the identification, actions, and quotes of numerous characters. To introduce the theme of honor vs. disloyalty, the characters Banquo and Macbeth exemplify traits that are equivalent with the moral of the story.
The theatre was shaped in a circular format with and no roof, so that the performances would be provided with lighting from the sun, “The open-air, polygonal amphitheater rose three stories high with a diameter of approximately 100 feet, holding a seating capacity of up to 3,000 spectator” (The Shakespeare Resource Center 2017). Its circular shape allowed for multiple viewers and all around seating. The higher covered sections provided seats for the nobility and the pit was where the poor could view the show with standing room only. Everyone wanted to see one Shakespear’s brilliant plays, and with the arrangement of seat and standing prices, most could.
Shakespeare’s tragedy, Macbeth, focuses on the tumultuous events that surround a regicide. Despite being the shortest of Shakespeare’s plays, in his critical study of the play A. C. Bradley concludes that due to its vehement nature the audience is left with an impression “not of brevity but of speed” . The principal female character of Lady Macbeth is arguably one of his most contentious. Consumed with intense passion, ambition and greed she challenges the subservient role of the traditional Elizabethan woman. She has disturbed, horrified and intrigued both contemporary and modern audiences alike through her powerful diction.
A story of tragedy is not uncommon with William Shakespeare and his works of prose. In his plays, death and despair is more likely than honor and prosperity. This is an included facet to Macbeth as well, having sinister themes of greed, manipulation, and brutality. Macbeth, by the infamous playwright, Shakespeare, presents us with multiple aspects factoring into whether the main character controls his actions that lead to the tragic events.
The Tragedy of Macbeth incorporates character development to present William Shakespeare’s motive; throughout the play it allows the audience to see the message the play relays. The play is a tragedy and it specifically shows the tragedy of humans as they self destruct. There is a use of literary devices to create different aspects of each character allowing them to portray different images of themselves that wouldn’t be noticed initially. Compared to how the audience views each character in the beginning of the play, the image develops into something new as different aspects are revealed. The characters and their continuous changes become the essence of the play.
For example, I once wrote a small story on a girl moving in with her were-wolf stepdad. Over the years, I read more and more books which have changed my writing. I developed my own style of writing that I’ve learned to possess and I hope my ideas expand over time. I don’t recall where I got this inspiration to write because no one in my family likes writing.
