It was the seventh-grade class field trip. After a bus ride that seemed to extend for hours, we finally reached our destination: the Virginia Creeper Trail, a trail in which you are expected to bike ride through the scenic wooded area. Before this trip, I never fully mastered the art of riding a bike and I struggled for weeks trying to conquer this skill. But somehow, I managed to learn the bare minimum. Now forwarding to the actual day of the trip, while riding along on the trail, I felt confident because I was successfully riding a bike without any external support. However, a horrible moment was awaiting me as we crossed over a bridge and an oncoming biker was about to pass me. Therefore, I became nervous of his proximity, suddenly my bike
