Personal Narrative: Traveling To Canada

It is a beautiful Sunday morning and my mother and I sit outside on the balcony to enjoy the last summer days. The atmosphere is relaxed and I have prepared breakfast for us - two big cups of coffee with milk and a tray of fresh fruit. I have personally always considered being able to travel a lot one of the greatest privileges in life, and as the sun peeks through the clouds and the wind rustles through the trees it reminds me of all the different places I have yet to visit. My mother shares my passion for traveling and has traveled to several places. However, her most memorable traveling experience is when she was 20 years old and decided to work as an au pair in Toronto,Canada. ”Traveling to Canada is one of the most challenging things I have ever done,” my mother says as we begin the interview. ”It is an experience that was both good and bad, and ultimately made me mature a lot. There is quite a lot to talk about, but I will try to keep it as short and simple as possible.”
