My plan was to teach kids at camp, but it was them who taught me the lesson I will never forget. Working with kids allowed me to grow and become an adult. I started working at a summer camp when I was 16 and I still work there to this day. It was my first job and I took it only because my mom wanted me to learn ‘responsibility’ and know what it’s like in the ‘real world’. What I learned from these kids shaped me into becoming the person I am today. On the first day of work I did not take it seriously.
