Transcript :} Euthanasia If I was a man unable to walk, unable to see, and can barely breathe let alone speak. I would be in such unbearable pain that i wouldn’t be even able to cry. This is a real situation for many, the many people that are forced to suffer. Would you like to help these people, these people like the many suffering you see on tv? Even when the only answer would be death? The answer is euthanasia. But for many still not know what is euthanasia? Euthanasia is the act of putting a person or animal suffering from an incurable condition to death painlessly. It is also called mercy killing or assisted suicide, to put it simply this means a painless death. I want you to know a little about the people suffering right now, the many people who are not allowed to be euthanized around the world. You see the final stages of a person suffering are often treated by increasing the dosage of pain-killers such as morphine, by giving sedatives which induce sleep which eventually may take the person into coma. This is known as 'terminal sedation' & in most cases the patient takes no part in the decision to use it. I believe that this is as bad as forcing someone …show more content…
deciding if you want to be alive or not is a personal decision. As such no one should have the power to decide if you want to live or not. If the government can give us liberty to decide our job, our family, our religion, and even our sex preference, why should they not give us the right to decide if we want to live or not? As such should people be forced to stay alive even if it costs them their humanity? No. You see even though caring for the dying has improved a lot in recent years, so has medical technology that enables life to be extended even when the person is past being able to enjoy it. As such I believe we should be able to ask for help when we feel we have suffered
