Essential characteristics of the principal’s role have been identified by groups such as the Interstate School Leaders Licensure Consortium, and the Educational Leadership Constituent Council. Standards from both these organizations require that a principal have a vision of learning, advocate for students, collaborate with teachers and the community, provide a safe environment, act with integrity, and understand the social and political confines in which we live. As noted by Sergiovanni in The Principalship, “For Parochial school principals, the religious dimension must be added to any array of roles and responsibilities that define the principalship.” (2015, p. 43)
Pros of turbocharger First of all, turbochargers allow for increase in horsepower when use. Secondly, increased combustion efficiency of turbochargers allows for minimal displacement of engines to release more power that is relative to the size of the engine. Third, turbochargers are fuel economisers. They are small in size and therefore consume lesser fuel. This is because the operation by optimising boost and other power performance measures, which minimises fuel.
(Schuttloffel, p.3). This was such an important theory in our prior course, and warrants review. Sergiovanni describes this theory as one where the Catholic school leader makes decisions based on the “right thing to do,” and the heart, head and hand of the school leader work together. Schuttloffel concurs with Sergiovanni and defines the union of the principal’s beliefs (heart), actions (hand), and head (world view) as authentic leadership, and for the Catholic leader, this union aligns with the school leader’s character as well as the leader’s witness to his or her faith. (p.3) Schuttloffel (2003) discusses the necessity for Catholic leaders to openly live their faith.
Why are you interested in administration of a Catholic school program? I believe every child is a gift from God and I love to see them share their gifts with others. (Boston College). Catholic schooling is always viewed with the stereotype of nuns and uniforms, but it is much more than that. At Catholic schools, students are taught moral lessons and life skills that they would not learn anywhere else. Through theology classes and a detailed focus on religion, students can realize what types of beliefs there are in the world and what they want to believe in. It gives students a chance to find out who they are and see if religion is something that they want to participate in.
All the students and teachers are supportive and caring. My Catholic education means the best education. If I wasn 't at a Catholic school Improbably wouldn’t be the person I am today. Our school helps us to grow in our faith so in the future when we are independent we stay as strong practicing
According to my school, the two-fold goal of Catholic schools is to provide an environment, which will foster rich religious training as well as solid academic education in a Catholic value-oriented manner. My school strives to do so with teachers and staff that receive compensation, which is unbiased. In good faith we apply the following principals: o Compensation follows the guidelines that the diocese encourages and the Catholic Church would support o Every effort is made to provide teachers and staff with compensation that is competitive with the other school in the diocese in order to retain our excellent teachers and staff o Compensation is provided to entice new and diverse faculty and staff to join our faith community o Compensation
I am grateful for the miracle of life growing within me. My body is strong, capable, and perfectly designed for pregnancy. I trust in the natural process of pregnancy and childbirth. Personal Philosophy Statement My personal philosophy statement is that eliminating the cost of education would allow more students to attend college. Many people graduate high school and stop their education after that, because they feel that attending college is not in their budget. However, not being able to afford college is not reason enough for you to miss out on the opportunity to experience higher education. When attending college, you have a lot of costs that factor into your attendance.
My personal philosophy comes from my experiences throughout my own schooling, and the observations that I have made while I was a student aid. My senior year of high school, I was a student aid for kindergarten teachers. During that time was when I realized that I wanted to pursue a career in education. I want to be able to make a difference in kids’ lives. I want to help kids who struggle to find their way, and push the more gifted kids to succeed even more.
The teachers make sure every student is attentive and understands the lesson they are teaching. Catholic schools like Our Lady of Mercy are special. They have sense of warmth and are like a home away from home. Catholic Schools make people feel welcomed and appreciated. Overall catholic schools provide an experience you can not get from a public school.
Why are you interested in attending the University of Virginia School of Medicine? What factors will be most important to you in choosing a medical school? Please answer the question in 350 words or less. As an out of state student, I believe finding a second home is necessary.
Personal Statement 1.What would you say is your greatest talent or skill? How have you developed or demonstrated that talent over time? My greatest skill would be having the ability to learn a new instrument during my 4 years in high school. Learning a new instrument takes a lot of work and being in 2 music classes(symphony and philharmonic)is a very rigorous task. Though i love playing an instrument and learning news things, there are many outside of school hours that i had to put in myself.
