My determination to have a positive impact on the lives of young people was sparked from the inspirations of my own primary educators who played a significant role in shaping the person that I have ultimately become. It is clear that teachers do more than simply teach: they develop lasting bonds with their pupils as a mentor, role model, and friend and their impacts extend far beyond the classroom.
