As I pursue my career as an educator, I wish to teach grades pre-kindergarten through fourth grade in a school district that fosters growth and opportunities. I will exhibit qualities of a dedicated, nurturing and natural leader throughout my career. As I develop my profession, I will develop my leadership skills to become an educator that strives for human growth and development, diversity, and service to others. I will foster academic achievement, but more importantly individualized achievement. By developing a classroom community that shows compassion and empathy, my students will own the qualities of an outstanding citizen. I want to choose the Master’s degree that will help me grow as an educator and as an individual. Throughout my life I have had teachers that have showcased high expectations. I plan to develop a standard for my students that they can model as well as develop their own goals and aspirations. Some of the key lessons I will teach will include integrity, effort, perseverance, and respect. These are the skills that will allow them to become outstanding leaders in and out of the classroom.
