Social justice to me is a vey important aspect of the catholic lifestyle. Personally I believe these teachings to very helpful in Christian life and society. As followers of Christ we are called to follow in his footsteps and his teachings. We have to support Christ’s teachings and traditions in order to live good Christian lives. One of the teachings of social justice is “Life and Dignity of the human person”. Personally today I make sure that I respect all of the people I met and make sure I treat them with the utmost love and affection. In five years I want to continue respecting all of my loved one and enemies. In ten years I want to make protest about abortion and put an end to this practice. Personally I help volunteer every Sunday at my local convalescent home. In five years I hope to helping at my local college homeless shelter. In ten years I hope to establish a homeless shelter and work though out the rest of my life. The fifth social teaching is “The dignity of work and the right of workers”. Personally my parents are part of unions; therefore I am aware of the rights of the workers. In five and ten years I hope to be working and respecting my fellow co-workers.
