"Being good in business is the most fascinating kind of art." Andy Warhol once said. 'Making money is art, working is art and good business is the best art.' This is one reason why I am particularly fascinated in applying for this course not just to obtain a job but also to prepare me for a career and hopefully create my own masterpiece. I successfully mastered my AS project in which I demonstrated my contemporaneous product that encompassed many design specifications like manufacturing and marketing to promote the final high quality product. Studying sociology has allowed me to develop my knowledge and understanding of the social world we live in like the organizations and social structures along with their impact on our daily lives. With this knowledge I have gained a strong focus on key modern social issues and policies. In reality business managers that understand sociology can use this wisdom to best effect in predicting customer needs or use it in countering staff problems in ways others may not. A background study in sociology will give me the advantage of avoiding alienation or damaging of company loyalty. Studying ICT has equipped me with the skill and knowledge of using the computer information systems. This has made me able to build the understanding of the basics of underpinning computer systems.
Therefore the use of ICT may give me the advantage to stay ahead of the competition in the short term in the business field. Furthermore, for my AS project I got rewarded the grade
