I have always thought knowledge was the most important tool anyone could ever have, and going to LSA will not only increase that, but it’s the opportunities and new experiences that drive to want to be a wolverine. I have always known the University of Michigan, specifically LSA, was the school for me. I have always loved science, but the intertwine of subjects while learning has always interested me. I am curious about other subjects, and LSA’s freedom to explore classes to find a major to fit me has always been something that lured me to love the school. Diversity has always been important to me, not only in the range of opportunities at the school, but the people at the school. Going to this type of school will not only help in the classroom, but will help me make connections outside of the classroom. Besides that, being the curious, innovative, and creative person I am, biological research has interested me tremendously. I would love to get involved in LSA’s biology research, because of a specific experience; It was when I was a volunteer in St. Joseph’s NICU that I was inspired to study biology with a pre- medicine concentration, and it made me more enticed about the fundamentals of the subject, being at LSA, and studying the natural sciences among people who are just as interested as me pushes me to want to continue, besides that the feeling of being around people who want to learn, and are passionate about what they are learning is the best feeling in the world.
