Everyone had a different role that helped our business club to grow and take us to different places. I was elected as the Activities Director and I had to make sure to make connections with companies so we could take business trips to either big companies or companies that were just starting. This role helped me so much to learn in how to be a leader since everyone else in the business club was looking at me and expecting to learn more from different companies. Some companies we got to visit include: Walmart Distribution Center, Windstream, Nike, and Bass Pro Shop. Also, as a business club, we got to participate at the Harvard Initiative for Latin American Relations Conference in Boston, Massachusetts in the Fall of 2015. This conference allowed people from Latin America to apply and get invited to this event that was held by Harvard University students. Some of the topics we got to learn were Human Rights/Inequality, Education, and Venture Capital in Latin America. Another Business Club I got to join was the American Marketing Association.
