I am majoring in Business Administration and Information Technology, two diverse fields that spans over many different types of businesses, in many different industries. I decided to go for two different majors because it opens my flexibility and marketability in the job markets, and for personal knowledge as well. Technology has influenced and changed both of these fields. I would like to start off in a field that I am able to utilize both degrees while making decent money. I would then like to buy property and rent out homes. As I continue to gain the tricks of the trade, I would like to then own an apartment complex and move on to the hotel business. I would like to be my own boss and Real Estate is an interesting field that affords me the flexibility that I look forward too. I would also like to learn how to code programs and diagnose issues with computer systems. I do have an interest in teaching others how to make the most of themselves these fields with my knowledge. When new computer hardware or software is released, someone must implement them into companies. When consumers have problems with their computers that they cannot fix, they often call companies who staff those that can diagnose and fix the issue. Without the information technology field, electronic technology cannot exist. Technology will keep me employed as the world continues to become automated and more people need support for their existing systems. As more technology is constantly being invented and improved, more jobs are available to people in that field. The Bureau of Labor and Statistics estimates that from 2014-2024 there will be a job outlook of 21% (Much faster than average) job growth for a computer systems
