I always struggle to answer when people ask me what I want to do with my life. What does one want to be remembered for? There is no doubt many that doing something memorable will always be on someone’s agenda. I want to be remembered for doing something exceptional with my life. I want to have a positive impact and benefit other people. I like to be the person that people can depend on. I believe trust is key in any kind of relationship. I always stick to my commitments. When I say I’m down for something, I do it with great enthusiasm. I never leave a job half done. I also always am trying to help people. I also believe they come to me because they feel I establish good relationships with my teachers. I try to be on a good basis with everyone. One of my favorite sayings states, “A friend is one of the nicest things you can have, and one of the best things you can be”. At the start of a new school year, the first thing I do is greet my peers and teachers. This simple act of kindness establishes a good, solid relationship with my teacher. Personal relationships are key to a happy life, and I believe that they are significant in every single aspect of life. They say that I float between social groups. I can partially agree with this. I do not associate myself with one “clique” of friends. I try to become friends with everyone in the class, though that may not be the case all the time. Overall, doing this proves to be a benefit. I hear all of their comments and ponderings, and have a larger friend group in general. I would be perfect for the role because I have leadership experience already. I am currently working at Kumon, a math and reading enrichment program, and helping tutor young children. Doing so has provided me with insight on tips and tricks on how to successfully lead
