A Contribution Is Significant No Matter How Big Or Small

Educational expenses give rise to stress in the life of students and their low-income families. Higher-level education is expensive and more challenging. In order to fulfill my goal of graduating from a well-know institution, I wish for all the help I can get. No matter how small or large a contribution is; I will always appreciate the thought behind it. A college career is a tremendous accomplishment for a member of a low-income family, and scholarship funds is the student’s main support for paying for tuition, books, a laptop, and other necessary materials. The language, the culture, the overall environment was very different from what I used to know, but my family was always there to support me both physically and emotionally. Two years ago, when I was a senior in high school, God gave me the opportunity to attend college. Before this blessing, I was worried about my future because my family’s financial situation is not the best. My sorrows are their sorrows, and my achievements are their achievements. When I received significant financial aid to go to college, my family and I were overjoyed to see an open door. I finally had a path I could walk on with confidence, excitement, and determination. My parents work hard to provide for the home even when work is limited, and I help out with family expenses with a summer job when I can. A good portion of my education funds come from my parent’s pockets and those summer jobs, and if I can support them with a possible scholarship, I will not hesitate to reach out for a helping hand. Habitat for Humanity gave my family a home when we needed it the most and I’m thankful to be considered for a scholarship through this wonderful organization. The professional path I follow is arduous and long, but I know for a fact that there will always be people there to support
