Currently I have a few goals in mind when I think of what will be happening in my future. My most immediate goal would be getting into the Honours Chemistry level 2 program and, preferably, with the ability to complete a co-op placement. If I follow this path I will have to take SCIENCE 2C00 and SCIENCE 3C00 to be eligible for a work placement. After that I would be spending a total of five years at McMaster with two eight month work terms. Once that is complete I will look for a job within my field of study or, if that doesn’t work out, pursue further studies. I feel confident in my future plan for a couple reasons. This tool has greatly helped my planning by showing the prerequisites for each program available to level 1 science students. On top of that, it shows the typical program choices for each gateway program, allowing for some suggestions for the possible interests for those students. Of course, the tool has some other functionalities that I only found due to the explanations of the Science 1A03 professor. One useful function is the Level 2 planning which allows you to see which programs you are eligible for based on your current course selections. This will be relevant to my academic future because since I will be looking to participate in co-op, I will need a proper resume to showcase what I can offer in the particular position. A specific strategy I would use is the need to change a resume depending on the employer. I think this flexibility is important because it allows you to show only the best and most relevant information for each application. If I apply this technique properly, I will be able to achieve success in my chosen
