In the short-term, I want to graduate cum laude in my Bachelor's degree of Marketing and Master's degree of International Business at the same time and utilize my experiences to gain an entry level position in the marketing department of a technology- based, media company and build up a strong presence within that industry. I want to pursue a career path that allows me to explore the intersections of media, technology, and design while ultimately working to promote diversity and inclusion within the workplace since I currently enjoy working on promoting social issues across my campus. I would find this specific occupation personally fulfilling because I would be able to complete my goal of contributing to the success of a corporation and traveling to different countries at the same time. Down the line, I hope that my work within a company and experience would allow me several leadership positions and being the head of teams since I thrive in leadership roles and helping develop a "why we do it" approach rather than "this is how we will complete it" to allow for flexibility and creativity. Ultimately, I would like to work as the Chief Marketing Officer to inspire and push those around me outside of their comfort zone and allow them to have a space to create ideas and projects. There is a lack of innovation being promoted within several companies and employers not feeling motivated enough to contribute to the creation of new products that could have the potential to impact the future growth of an industry. For example, some companies like to stick to the same direction they have been going in for the past 20+ years or so since they know they will be able to have constant revenue.
