My experiences during high school and throughout life have been varied and enriching. Many of those experiences give me a different perspective on various topics in comparison to many of my peers. As a result of my diverse range of experiences, I could provide interesting insight and help that would not be possible otherwise. For example, my time spent in Brazil and my fluency in Spanish and Portuguese allow me to provide linguistic insight and share my broad worldview. I desire to teach and share my knowledge, and help with projects and research. I have extensive experience in Computer Science, having made many programs and applications, and having competed in local and state Computer Science competitions. I have also taken advanced maths to the level of Calculus BC, along with high level science with AP Physics C and AP Chemistry. However, I am not only advanced in STEM subjects. I have served in leadership roles as National Honor Society Vice President, Mu Alpha Theta First Vice President, and a Student Leadership Member. I have also traveled to the Texas State Capitol to learn about leadership, government, and the history of Texas from Texas State Representative Cecil Bell Jr.. Furthermore, I have coordinated a banquet and organized a school assembly which registered voting age seniors to vote in the US Presidential Election, and will now serve as an example for other schools in the region. All of these experiences have fostered my growth as a leader, and I would be able and willing to provide guidance and leadership within the community in various ways.
