I thought the concept of finishing college and getting a job was only for me. Since childhood I have been thought the value of education. To be honest till now I really never gave it much importance till I have faced the harsh reality.
George Washington Carver once said “Education is the key to unlock the golden door of freedom. “
But the reality is tougher than that. We need education not to just unlock our minds but also to stand straight as individuals. In this century nothing comes for free and to be a strong weapon to fight with now a day’s exertion, college education and experience is most required. To achieve every goal in life, college degree is the key to that. Education is very important for us. Not only will it give you a constant, secure future. It will also teach you how to survive in this world where everything is a competition. And college degree trains you to face those complications and pass with flying colors.
Now that I am old enough to understand, that my degree will provide me to a safe path for my secure future. I want to finish my education so that I can be a better role model to my family, specially my younger sister and brother. I just don’t want to be proud of myself; I want my family to be proud of me as well. I want to be an example for them. During those days I have worked and provide for my loved once. Even though I was very sincere as employee but it was sufficient. Without a college education there was no decent and well paid job. As time passed I have realized the significance of a college degree. I have worked very hard to come where I am now.
