For as long as I can remember, I always have the deeply entrenched fascination with Biology. Every time I performed an experiment, I found that the struggle of discovering novel knowledge was extremely captivating and it made me eager to know more. This is the reason for me to choose to pursue my PhD and also to work as a research scientist in the future. Regarding my background, my strong passion for science gradually formed through numerous special research programs that allowed me to experience various fields of research since high school period. Joining the different research programs, I was not only trained in diverse research skills, but I also learnt how to work as a team with numerous experienced researchers. Through all the research projects that I conducted, I was intensively trained in numerous molecular biology techniques, which also motivated me to take Molecular Biology as my …show more content…

Furthermore, in my PhD research, I am using both computational and experimental approaches to investigate the metabolic networks in the non-model organism which provide me with a broader perspective for conducting research in diverse research fields. As might be seen, I always seek the opportunities to experience different aspects of science as much as I could because I truly believe that multidisciplinary research is the most effective approach to make the impact to society. Joining the research program in the different setting is one of the most encouraging ways to experience the new angels of science career and BIOTRAIL is definitely one of the most suitable programs for this purpose. Joining the program would be one of the greatest opportunities for me to not
