As being the oldest sibling in my family, I want to achieve many goals in my life such as entering a college without burdening my family. It’s also my goal to become an excellent good role model to my younger brother which is 5 years old. I want him to see me not only his older sister but also a strong person and an intelligent lady. Even when I was younger, my parents helped me through achieving academic goals such as becoming a valedictorian in my elementary school. I am also very thankful for my elementary teachers that shaped me of who I am now and disciplining me. My first year in high school, I got awarded for an Academic Excellence in English I. I accepted my certification of completion of a Basic Cadet Training for NJROTC. I also joined Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training, on my second year of joining it, I received an award called Scottish American Military Society, it recognizes my personal efforts in the military arts and skills of professional leadership, physical fitness and scholastic achievements. On the same year, I became the February Cadet of the Month. I always try my best both in academic and social life. For the social life aspects, I love meeting new people and knowing each other if we have any similar hobbies or characteristics. At the same time, academic is also very important for me and my family. My family raised me lovingly and taught me that education is the most important thing that they can give to me. Therefore, I always make sure that I intake the education that I am getting from the school. My family is not privileged like other families, but they always try to give me things that I deserved and I am really thankful for that. They always want me to succeed and also learn from my mistakes. Now, it is my time to also help my family financially by receiving this scholarship if I was the chosen one, I will really appreciate it and it would really help me through
