My reasons and motivation to apply and pursue for the EMBA in Digital Transformation at this point of my professional career is because I see that the digitization as phenomenon is fundamentally changing the ways we do business, work and live. I see that it is clear that change that digitalization causes is something more than just new technological innovations in some areas of our society. My core competence lies in the strategic management and development of digital business and information processes and underlying architectures (technical services) needed to implement those into the action. During my working career, I have been working in very information intensive financial and research organizations and I have seen the development of World Wide Web services from information network mainly serving for academic purposed to the current digital business platform that will transform the way we do business.
I consider one of my key strengths that I am a good catalyst between the business side and the technology side. I see that I am able to bring both my theoretical knowledge and practical experiences as a part of the program discussions, work in the class and assignments.
