An event or an experience in my life that will influence my academic work and goals at Colorado Christian University is, well I have two things. One that can slow me down and trip me up. The other one that can keep me going on this journey to get my degrees and see this experience all the way through. As I take you through these two areas on my life, please be praying. First, is I’m relocating, new job, new environment and I have to get familiar with new line of work that I’m going into. This can obviously distract, overwhelm and discourage anyone with clear career goals. Let’s start with moving, still in the same state, but completely different area and environment. New job, I’m trying to strength myself in a lot different areas of my life and taking this job is one way. It’s mentally, physically and emotionally going to test me far more than I’ve been tested before. People are everywhere that’s no doubt but the things that set them apart is personality and life experience. So I have to firm in who I am, what I believe and what I will allow to be around. This new adventure I’m taking is something that will strengthen, deepen and expand my personality and spiritual relationship. But also get me distracted and off track from my academic goals. The definition of persistent is continuing firmly or obstinately in a course of action in spite of difficulty or opposition. Also continuing to exist or endure over prolong period. Once I set my mind to doing anything, I’m going to complete it. This part of my personality can be a weakness to strive for perfection, and as we all know that’s not possible. But is also can strength, to never get up, to have obedience and steadfastness to finish what I started. No matter what comes my way I know what I want to be my end goal. So strive for perfection with a realistic mind
