I have set a number of goals for myself, that I hope to complete during my lifetime. One of those goals include furthering my education in the field of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Additionally, I want be of benefit to the communities I live in by giving back. I feel that learning in the context of aviation and aerospace during high school benefits me immensely, by giving me a head start in the field before I even reach university. I believe that education is the key that unlocks doors that would otherwise be closed for people that lack the expertise or skills needed to be successful in their chosen fields. Moreover, the most basic job requires at least a high school diploma. I have always been fascinated by airplanes. As a toddler, I would often point at these metal 'birds' in awe as they took to the skies. Whenever I was at an airport, it was equivalent to being at Disneyland. My mom once said," A man is known by the company he keeps". I took it, to mean always surrounding yourself with positive people, role models, and productive members of society that do good deeds. I acknowledge some amazing resources and opportunities my community and the people around me have given me, and I am very grateful for them and would love to be able to be in a position to give back. I maybe young but I do want to start tutoring with math and science courses during my time in high school. As I get older, I want to continue helping my community get better for the people living in it, while maintaining my goals and commitments to my education and career.
