anything and this is something that I truly believe because I’m always open to learning or to doing something new that I’m not familiar with. I’ve always tell myself that I don’t want to be a self-proclaim know it all type of a person, so this characteristic of an ideal helper stands out to me immediately and I know that as a helper I would be learning new things all the time. Especially, when it has to do with working with clients that are looking for answers to resolve their needs. I am able to challenge clients to dream and to take the steps necessary to fulfill their dreams. I know that I cannot inspire clients to do in their lives what you are unable or unwilling to do in my own life” (Corey, 2017). Although, I am not yet practicing or working as a helper this statement is to say simply, when I began my profession of a helper I do not or will not take the place of trying to change anyone’s believes, religion, cultural background, the way they choose to dress and how they choose to live their lives etc. For I wouldn’t change my cultural practices, the way I dress and my faith and believes, because these are things I’m unable to change and will not change, so it isn’t my place to meddle in people private life’s or encourage anyone to changes anything about themselves.
