My regard for Law stems from a deep rooted interest in the effect that the Law has had throughout history. The way that Law adapts and changes with time yet confronts the core ethical issues of our society is mainly what has fascinated me with the subject. I also feel the study of Law will allow me to apply my personal skills to a subject and prosper throughout the course.
I decided to further my knowledge and interest in law by reading around the subject with 'Letters to a law student' that I found to be an accessible way to see the Legislation's impact in society. I have also been reading 'What about Law' which I feel is an interesting breakdown of law from the educational stance to the real-life application.

My A-level subjects have given me a sound foundation for academic study, as through the study of religion and philosophy at GCSE and A-Level …show more content…

I have pursued this interest further by attending multiple conferences relating to RE by Peter Vardy that confronted interesting topics of morality in relation to action and helped me gain additional understanding of the inner-workings of moral judgement within actions. My study of French to an AS level has also helped immensely with my ability to communicate, whilst establishing integral memory, listening and text analysis skills, that I feel will be helpful with my study of Law. History has also been an influential subject for me as during my A-Level history course I have encountered some of the most important worldwide uses of Law; including the Emancipation Proclamation and the Civil Rights movements which proved to me the extreme importance of
