Ready for the future Working is a lot of work and can be tough especially when school in there too. After all the interviews and research at the beginning of the semester I have learned a lot. With the interviews I took, I learned about different working environments. I think I am more prepared about work in the future than I was before. I am going to school to be a special ed teacher for elementary kids. Some of the people who I interviewed gave me some information on what it is like to be a teacher. I know what my strengths and weaknesses are and I feel prepared on what to expect.

With working at Vetta Sports and hosting birthday parties for little kids there can be a lot of crabby parents if they do not like something. When it comes to talking to a crabby parent, I go and get another person to talk. I am not a shy person so I do not understand why I never know what to do and get someone else to help. I am a very social person and make friends easily. At work when someone is crabby it is like I freak out and do not know what to say. When working with kids, you are going to have to put up with the parents as well so being able to talk to someone who is not happy is very important. When working with little kids a big thing you got to have is patiences and that is one of my biggest strengths. Little kids have so much energy and their brains are not fully developed. When they are doing something productive, like homework in school,you have to keep things entertaining and not let things get boring otherwise they will get distracted easy. When we go places and there are little kids it is like they attract to me like magnets. I love being around little kids that is why my two jobs are working with little kids. I do birthday parties at one job and at the other I teach little kids soccer. Having patience comes a lot in helping little kids play soccer.
