Personal Statement

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

I am presenting this statement of purpose with a great deal of hope and optimism as my admission into Sullivan University shall play a crucial role in terms of me achieving my goals and being productive for the benefit of myself and the community at large.

After finishing my schooling I wanted to become a technically sound individual and someone who understands technology and someone who can contribute to humanity with the help of technology. However, I was persuaded to get into life sciences by my parents and society. But my zeal to learn about computers had never let me leave any opportunity that passed my way to get into Information Technology and hence I started taking online and classroom training on basics of computers.

So, I had to go for Masters in Chemistry at Idaho State University. The long hours that I had spent in the laboratories during my 1st masters provided me a firm footing and keen interest towards Computer Science. Throughout my masters I had handled volumes of data from different research works happening in the university and that’s when my interest towards databases and software grew even more which made choose software development as my career. The online and in class training sessions I have taken during my under graduation helped me take up the responsibility to maintain research data at the college.

To fulfill my dream of obtaining a Master’s degree in IT, I needed to gain enough professional experience in the field of software which would help me get an admission. With my persistent efforts and hard work, I secured a job at Namitus Technologies Inc., My experience at Namitus is invaluable for me since I learned the functionality of various tools and software’s in the real world applications.
