“The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.” —Mark Twain, a powerful quote whose feelings I realized when I discovered the career to pursue based on my experiences and curiosity. Inspired by the successive missions of ISRO and the Mars-Rover mission by NASA aspired me to gain profound knowledge in the field intended to find solutions to real-life problems. The wide scope for research in Propulsion Systems is promising, and I aim at contributing to an evolutionary phase in propulsion.
I intend to pursue an M.S. degree in Aerospace Engineering at The University of Texas- Arlington, with an emphasis on Propulsion System.

These subjects are core areas of the Mechanical field and also form a base structure for Aerospace. I really hated to study Thermodynamics & Mechanics first due to their complex course structure. I failed in those subjects and there was an F on my mark sheets. If I look back at that moment, that F was a game changer for me. Rather than taking it as a fall, I took it as a challenging aspect and came back strong to clear them with profound knowledge. I also referred to online courses from Edx, Coursera, NPTEL which made me understand these subjects in …show more content…

A modern innovative project on Robotics which involved using simple mechanical methods to make a robot to effectively perform body massage on human body. The main idea of doing this project was to find a solution for increasing back problems using engineering knowledge with involvement of innovative technology. Our project was praised in an national tech-fest event organized in my college, due to its uniqueness. My contribution included major research on the selection of the robotic system design, manufacturing, and testing. The project’s success was the combined effort of all four members. We secured an A grade for the project work which boosted my last year GPA to 7.4 (on a scale of 10) at the time of completion of my degree
